As the owner of Alpha Test, a local manufacturer of medical testing equipment, and a holder of five patents, Pat’s background in technology and problem-solving uniquely positions him to contribute to the county’s economic growth.
Originally from Arizona, Pat and his wife of 47 years moved to Mason County to embrace its natural beauty and tight-knit community. Over the years, he has held various public service roles, driven by a deep commitment to civic engagement and helping others. His efforts focus on fostering collaboration and creating opportunities for families, businesses, and entrepreneurs.
Joining the EDC board excites Pat because of its mission to drive economic development and enhance Mason County’s appeal as a place to live, work, and grow. He aims to support initiatives that align with the community’s values and make the county more attractive to new residents and businesses alike.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Pat enjoys sailing, scuba diving, and lobster hunting. His love for the outdoors reflects his connection to Mason County’s rich natural environment, from the Puget Sound to Hood Canal. These hobbies highlight his adventurous spirit and appreciation for the region’s unique offerings.
