For community partners
Market-Ready Mason works with non-profits, schools, senior meal programs, health organizations, tribes, cities, and community groups across Mason County. Right now that means connecting producers to institutional buyers, planning winter workshops shaped by what producers tell us they need, running listening sessions alongside ThurstonEDC, and working on the gap between food benefits issued in this county and food benefits actually spent here.
The most useful thing a partner can offer is usually a specific introduction. If your organization buys food, we would like to talk with whoever makes those decisions. If you work with producers we have not reached, an introduction is much appreciated. And if you have a room, a newsletter, or a standing meeting where producers already gather, we would like to bring a session to it.
