Michael Curtin is a dedicated public servant with deep roots in rural values and a strong commitment to the Port of Allyn and the surrounding community. A proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, Michael’s career spanned over 20 years, where he honed his skills in leadership, problem-solving, and managing critical resources. His ability to maintain high standards earned him recognition within the First Force Service Support Group, where he oversaw multi-million-dollar operations and mentored teams through challenging environments.
As a resident of Mason County, Michael is no stranger to the values of hard work and helping neighbors. He has spent years giving back to the community, serving as a Celebrate Recovery Ministry Leader, coaching youth sports, and teaching Sunday school. Michael and his wife have opened their home and hearts to foster children, providing a loving environment for those in need. His dedication to the community reflects the values of small-town life, where every contribution counts.
Michael’s educational journey took him from San Bernardino Valley College to Grand Canyon University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education (Social Studies). He pairs this academic foundation with practical skills to further serve the needs of his community.
