Mason EDC Opens Belfair Office
The Mason County Economic Development Council (EDC) is pleased to announce the opening of an office in Belfair. In partnership with the North Mason Chamber of Commerce, the EDC will begin offering a full suite of business development services in the North Mason community, improving access for local entrepreneurs.
“The EDC’s mission is to provide free support to businesses and entrepreneurs in Mason County. By partnering with the North Mason Chamber, we are better positioned to serve the business community in North Mason,” said Kevin Shutty, Executive Director of the Mason County Economic Development Council. “With public and private investments growing in Belfair, it is important for the EDC to show its commitment to businesses in the area and help facilitate economic activity.”
The EDC will share space in the existing North Mason Chamber of Commerce office. Having a shared space shows both business support organizations are aligned to provide access to resources.
“We are excited to offer a ‘one-stop’ experience for local businesses in need of resources,” said Kerry Myers, President and CEO of the North Mason Chamber of Commerce. “Our office is a hub for business support, visitor services, and vehicle licensing needs. The EDC compliments those resources and is a valued partner in helping grow our local economy.”
The EDC will hold office hours on Tuesdays beginning December 2 and by appointment.
The North Mason Chamber of Commerce is located at 30 Romance Hill Rd, Suite 103, Belfair, WA 98528. The Chamber is open Tuesday-Friday from 9am-5pm and Saturdays from 9am-1pm.
