Request for Proposal (RFP): Industry Cluster Strategy Study for Mason County Economic Development Council

Mason County, WA - June 18, 2024 -  The Mason County Economic Development Council (EDC) invites proposals from experienced and qualified firms to conduct an Industry Cluster Strategy Study. This RFP seeks to retain services to identify key industries, strengths, and opportunities to generate long-term economic growth within Mason County.

With the recent award of American Rescue Plan funds, our organization aims to bolster our recruitment and retention efforts to support housing, infrastructure, job training, and technical education projects. This is of particular importance as it relates to Comprehensive Plan updates being conducted by Mason County and the City of Shelton as well as the recently re-established Pacific Salish Economic Development District (EDD). The EDD documents contain high-level information on regional clusters and would serve as helpful background information for this study.
